Alles was goed georganiseerd, behalve het hotel. Badkamer is smerig en geen warm water, eten was enigszins te doen maar ik probeerde niet te denken hoe zou de keuken eruit zien en hoe het gemaakt werd. Het (legionella) zwembad is ook niet de schoonste. Zou echt niet erin gaan zwemmen.

De beste gids was Hazem Hassan! Ook de chauffeur was top! We hebben genoten van onze 2-daagse trip die fantastisch was, met uitzondering van het hotel dat jullie geboekt hadden voor ons. Hotel Karnak was echte horror, een schande eigenlijk. Vuile lakens, geen handdoeken, geen wc-papier, frigo werkte niet en geen warm water! Dus een douche konden we niet nemen! Bovendien voelden we ons onveilig in die buurt, ‘s avonds konden we, als Europeanen, niet buiten komen of we werden achtervolgd door bedelende kinderen. Niet ok! Voor die prijs die we betaalden verwachtten we wel een gepastere accommodatie!
