Our two-day trip from Hurghada to Luxor was fantastic, largely thanks to our outstanding guide, Jorg Romani from Ranco Travel.Luxor felt very safe, with excellent security and our private guide effectively acting as a "bodyguard" against aggressive vendors.We visited amazing sites like Karnak Temple, Medinet Habu, the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut's Temple. Everything was smooth: reliable driver, comfortable car, no lines for tickets—Jorg handled it all perfectly.Jorg was kind, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and always stuck to verified archaeological facts (no wild theories presented as truth). He was also an excellent photographer, expertly positioning us for the best possible photos with the stunning temples and monuments.The hotel (Jolie Ville Resort & Spa on a Nile island) was top-notch, with an infinity pool and gorgeous sunsets.We added a private Nile boat trip and sunrise balloon ride—both highly recommended and great value.We highly recommend Jorg Romani & Ranco Travel.

Very friendly guide (Nama) provided a great balance between guided information and freedom to roam around myself. Everything was taken care of really well. I do recommend the 2 day tour so you have a bit more time to enjoy instead of rush.

On tenait a vous dire comment nous avons apprécié tant la prise en charge a Hurghada que les différentes visites proposées à Louxor, nous permettant de découvrir le temple de Karnac, le temple de Habu, la vallée des Rois, le temple de Hatchepsout sur 2 jours. Avec une nuit dans un hôtel 5*. Le plus de cette Excursion est notre guide Tayeb (signifiant "le bon" en égyptien), très professionnel, ayant une connaissance de la culture Egyptienne incroyable, répondant à toutes nos demandes et souhaits. Souriant, prévenant, nous avons apprécié son humour, sa patience et je le recommande vivement comme guide francophone pour Louxor

She is truly a walking encyclopedia, incredibly knowledgeable, yet warm, friendly, and easy to connect with. Every explanation felt alive, not rehearsed. On top of that, she is an excellent photographer and helped us capture beautiful memories throughout the day. She was always attentive, supportive, and ready to help with anything we needed. It also happened to be my birthday, and she went above and beyond by surprising me with a thoughtful gift, a gesture I will never forget. We visited extraordinary places, and each site was presented in a fascinating, engaging way that made the experience unforgettable. Honestly, I don’t think a better guide exists. A trip that is absolutely worth taking – not only because of the places we visited, such as the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Habu Temple, all of which were incredibly fascinating. But especially because our guide made it truly exciting. He had an amazing amount of knowledge and great enthusiasm for the places we visited. We had lunch by the Nile at a really lovely restaurant. In the evening, we were driven to our hotel, and to our great surprise it wasn’t a four-star hotel, but a five-star one. Beautiful surroundings – the hotel is surrounded by the Nile, with a lovely pool and much more. So in the end, getting up early was absolutely worth it.
