This has been a wonderful tour with a great driver and a very charming and competent guide. If you don't stay in Luxor for too long and want to see the greatest cultural heritage sites, this is the right tour for you. At each site, I had enough time to continue and explore on my own, with all questions I had being answered by the guide. Whatever you do, do not leave Luxor without visiting the Karnak temple. This was the religious center of Egypt for 2000 years and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings pale in comparison (but go visit them, too!).

The whole activity was fantastic, and I learned so much from our guide, Esaam. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about explaining everything, always ready to clear up any doubts we had. I’ve never seen a guide use a pen and paper during sightseeing and travel between places. Before we even visited the first spot, he gave us a comprehensive overview of Luxor’s history and then went into great detail about each location. He even read all the hieroglyphs and explained them!

The private tour was excellent! So glad we did this just the 2 of us. Shereen was our guide for the day who was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful, also recommended a couple of extra places to visit whilst we were on our stay. The sites are just incredible - thankfully it wasn’t busy in all the places so we had a decent amount of time to learn around the history of each place and take some nice pictures! Lunch was great - felt traditional food which was a nice change from resort food at the hotel. Couldn’t recommend this enough! Our driver was also polite and a gentlemen - Sayed. Car was air conditioned too. Only slight improvement was around the communication before our trip…I sent a message via get my guide around pick up as we were slightly outside of the zone, and I had nothing back, I did try to call but no answer. Thankfully the hotel recommended WhatsApp and then communication was excellent & they collected us from the hotel without any problem. You must go!

Can’t rate this your high enough! Our guide Nevein was beyond amazing, extremely knowledgeable and friendly! It was my birthday and she even got me a little gift and cake! The tombs etc were fantastic, I would highly recommend a private tour as friends who went with a group didn’t have nowhere near as much and saw far less. The driver was also great drove extremely responsibly and carefully, something we have come to realise is rare in Egypt!

We opted for a private tour so it was just me, hubby, guide, and driver. A brilliant day spent exploring Luxor. Our guide was superb. He shared his knowledge, checked if we had an questions, and generally helped us to get the best from the day. If anyone is visiting Luxor, we'd definitely recommend this experience. A little more expensive than the mass coach version but much more personable.

Fantastic, tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful, assisted with with our shopping and also all request, lunch we ask vegetarian and it was very good. Driver was nice and very friendly, a bit to friend at the end, but nothing negative.

We had an amazing day in Luxor! Our guide Khaled spoke excellent Spanish and shared so much fascinating knowledge about Egyptian culture and the temples. He took great care of us, letting us having time to take pictures and explore the sites — the car was new and spotless, and the lunch was delicious. Truly a wonderful experience!
