Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking with us
Last updated: April 24, 2025
1. Introduction
These booking conditions, together with our privacy policy and any other written information we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, form the basis of your contract with Red Sea Quest. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
2. Booking and Payment
When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Egyptian Law, and the jurisdiction of Egyptian Courts.
2.1 Deposit and Payment
For most tours, full payment is required at the time of booking. For certain tours and during specific promotional periods, we may offer "Reserve Now, Pay Later" options. In such cases, your booking will be confirmed upon payment of a deposit, with the remaining balance due as specified during the booking process.
2.2 Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are per person unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change prices listed on our website at any time before you book. Once you have booked and received confirmation, the price of your tour is guaranteed, except for:
- Adjustments due to changes in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel
- Changes in taxes or fees imposed by third parties
- Changes in exchange rates applied to your booking
3. Changes and Cancellations
3.1 Changes by You
If you wish to change any part of your booking after our confirmation invoice has been issued, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. This should be done by the person who made the booking. While we will do our best to assist, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your requested change.
3.2 Cancellation by You
You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay cancellation charges as follows:
- More than 24 hours before tour start time: Full refund (for tours with free cancellation policy)
- Less than 24 hours before tour start time: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Please note that different cancellation policies may apply to different tours. The specific cancellation policy applicable to your booking will be clearly displayed before payment.
3.3 Changes or Cancellation by Us
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your tour, but we do plan the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.
If we are constrained by circumstances beyond our control to alter significantly any of the main characteristics of the travel services that make up your package, you will have the rights set out below.
- Accept the suggested alternatives
- Cancel your booking with a full refund
4. Your Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party have valid passports, appropriate visas, and meet all health requirements for travel to Egypt. We cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure to carry correct documentation.
For diving activities, you must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory and heart conditions. You confirm that all participants in diving activities have the necessary qualifications as specified in the tour details.
5. Our Liability to You
We will not be liable where any failure to perform or improper performance of the travel services is due to:
- Your own acts or omissions, or those of a third party not connected with the provision of your tour
- Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised
- An event which we or our suppliers, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall
6. Complaints
If you have a problem during your tour, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g., tour guide) immediately. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please contact us at info@redseaquest.com. If the problem cannot be resolved and you wish to complain further, you must send formal written notice of your complaint to us within 28 days of the end of your stay.
7. Additional Information
For further information regarding passports, visas, health requirements, and travel advice, please contact us before booking. By confirming your booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these booking conditions.
